Lindsay and Jonathan's Wedding- Photographed by Marisu
Lindsay and Jonathan had so many surprises for me on their wedding day. Not the least of which was the fact that Jonathan was a talented musician (ran in the family!) and the way he played the stand up bass really wowed me! That and Lindsay's red cowgirl boots under her beautiful dress. Had a great time guys! Thanks so much. -Marisu

Katherine and Clayton's Wedding- Photographed by Marisu

How nice to be able to have a gorgeous outdoor wedding in your own backyard complete with waterfalls and oak trees draped in moss. Katherine and Clayton, it was a pleasure. We had lots of laughs and your families were so kind to me. -Marisu

The Jerden Family- Photographed by Marisu

This beautiful couple, Ali and Eddie, was one of my earliest weddings, and one of the first of our weddings published in the Knot years and years ago. And now they have a beautiful little girl. And while all that was going on, they created an absolutely beautiful home near Ansley Park, with a redesign that took TWO years. Talk about patience. But it paid off! Ali, you should do interior design for a living. -Marisu

Vanessa and David's Wedding- Photographed by Marisu

I never tire of the streets and scenes of Savannah, especially for weddings. And Vanessa had to be the luckiest bride. It had rained for days prior to the event, in fact, it was raining the day of the wedding. She had planned for an outdoor wedding in Forsythe Park and was determined to have it there rain or shine. Believe it or not, 15 minutes before she was to walk down the aisle, the rain stopped and the sun came out. And it stayed nice until we finished the family portraits and the editorial. Amazing! Vanessa and David must be living right! -Marisu

Beach Photo Sessions

Had a wonderful time at the beach in St Simons last month working with clients from the Atlanta-Athens area. It's so nice to be with families at the beach...they are so relaxed and the kids are so animated. Nice energy! We will be doing these beach sessions periodically throughout the year so email the studio if you'd like to be informed of the next set of dates. Beach locations will vary. Happy Summer!

Abbra and Bobby's Wedding -Photographed by Marisu

Are you planning a Fall wedding? Marisu photographed Abbra and Bobby's October wedding. Abbra wrote about her weddings' beautiful details for us.
"Thanks to the USAF, we planned a majority of our fall 2008 wedding from over a thousand miles away! We worked to create a southern wedding that would incorporate many elements of our favorite season. We chose the beautiful Foundry Park Inn and Spa of Athens for our wedding site. Throughout the wedding, my favorite color, orange, was incorporated into flowers, ribbon work and accents on the wedding cake. A rich infusion of burnt orange, chocolate browns and gold pulled every element of the theme together. Every feature and the attention to detail that was given by all involved provided us with memories we will always cherish." -Abbra

Melinda and Todd's Wedding - Photographed by Marisu

Melinda and Todd got married in Athens and I had so much fun with their whole family. The women in the family are all gorgeous, and the dad is so genteel. I don’t think I’ve had so many laughs during a reception in a long time. It was easy to get great shots because the bridal party and the guests were true performers and really enjoyed themselves right up to the end. Melinda, nice hat! -Marisu
