Lindsay and Jonathan's Wedding- Photographed by Marisu
Lindsay and Jonathan had so many surprises for me on their wedding day. Not the least of which was the fact that Jonathan was a talented musician (ran in the family!) and the way he played the stand up bass really wowed me! That and Lindsay's red cowgirl boots under her beautiful dress. Had a great time guys! Thanks so much. -Marisu

Leslie and Mason's Wedding- Photographed by Shannah

Leslie and Mason are a creative couple. They gave me artistic license with our shots and I had so much fun. There were really interesting touches, like the beautiful baby's breath bouquets from Gardenia Floral, that really made the day unique. The reception was at the Taylor Grady House. The fabulous music by Squat created the perfect vibe for a party. Despite the Georgia heat, it was a wonderful day! -Shannah

Elise and Todd's Wedding- Photographed by Shannah
Elise and Todd's wedding had a decidedly creative touch. From the lovely birdcage veil to the whimsical cake topper these "love birds" created a beautiful wedding day atmosphere. Marisu's great talent transformed the already beautiful Elise into a totally gorgeous diva to match her dresses' unique style. The pink wingback chair belonged to the bride's grandmother and fit perfectly under the shade of a southern Magnolia tree that was right outside the UGA Chapel where the couple wed. But beyond all the beautiful details, there was such tremendous joy and love at this wedding that it shone just as brightly as all the other gorgeous elements. It was a true pleasure to work with Elise , Todd and everyone there. -Shannah

Katherine and Clayton's Wedding- Photographed by Marisu

How nice to be able to have a gorgeous outdoor wedding in your own backyard complete with waterfalls and oak trees draped in moss. Katherine and Clayton, it was a pleasure. We had lots of laughs and your families were so kind to me. -Marisu

Vanessa and David's Wedding- Photographed by Marisu

I never tire of the streets and scenes of Savannah, especially for weddings. And Vanessa had to be the luckiest bride. It had rained for days prior to the event, in fact, it was raining the day of the wedding. She had planned for an outdoor wedding in Forsythe Park and was determined to have it there rain or shine. Believe it or not, 15 minutes before she was to walk down the aisle, the rain stopped and the sun came out. And it stayed nice until we finished the family portraits and the editorial. Amazing! Vanessa and David must be living right! -Marisu

Robyn and Sean's Wedding -Photographed by Shannah

The site for this wedding was a home that had been in the groom's
family since it was built.
Robyn, with the help of Michele Turner from Consultants Unlimited(http://www.consultants-unlimited.com/ ), really did a remarkable job designing all the details as a perfect compliment to the unique setting. The personalized touches extended to the band (http://www.oceanstreetmusic.com/), who were friends of the bride and groom, and played a great show. -ShannahMonday, July 6, 2009

Wolf Mountain Vineyard Weddings- Photographed by Shannah

Wolf Mountain Vineyards was the location for three beautiful weddings I photographed in the last few months. I just love the rolling hillside covered in grapevines and the fresh mountain air....Not to mention these great couples that made the days so beautiful and fun. The thing I loved about all of these weddings was how each of the couples personalized this already beautiful space to make the wedding a refection of them. I'm excited to be back at Wolf Mountain later this summer and again in the fall. It's becoming one of my favorite destinations and I look forward to the chance one day to visit on my own time and enjoy a glass of their award winning wine! http://www.wolfmountainvineyards.com/ -Shannah

Abbra and Bobby's Wedding -Photographed by Marisu

Are you planning a Fall wedding? Marisu photographed Abbra and Bobby's October wedding. Abbra wrote about her weddings' beautiful details for us.
"Thanks to the USAF, we planned a majority of our fall 2008 wedding from over a thousand miles away! We worked to create a southern wedding that would incorporate many elements of our favorite season. We chose the beautiful Foundry Park Inn and Spa of Athens for our wedding site. Throughout the wedding, my favorite color, orange, was incorporated into flowers, ribbon work and accents on the wedding cake. A rich infusion of burnt orange, chocolate browns and gold pulled every element of the theme together. Every feature and the attention to detail that was given by all involved provided us with memories we will always cherish." -Abbra
